The Green Riband Trust was established to find and reward the leaders that are guiding the world to a low-carbon future.

The Green Riband is awarded for the fastest circumnavigation of the earth solely using transportation of the hydrogen age (commonly referred to as zero emission vehicles); specifically fuel cell transportation and associated solar, wind technologies and qualifying bio-fuels.

Challengers will demonstrate and validate the practicality of low-carbon transportation to a global audience and mark our progress towards an emissions-free society.

This high-profile media event will serve as a communications channel to educate the global public and contribute to the development of the low-carbon economy.
